Tudor: The Wooden planks attached to the siding make it look like there holding the house up,  ut its actually fake there just there to add a certain kind of look to the house.

 

 

 



 



NeoClassic: The pillars are what make it NeoClassic, Its from a Greek background.
























Queen Anne: The queen anne comes form the Victorian Era. Usually for the wealthy, it is a romantic style usually with towers and turrets.















Bungalow: Its a simple small house brought by the arts and crafts movement. In the Great Depression this was the style of choice.




Ranch/ Split level: These American Scene houses came in the mid 1930s and are still popular today. Most like these houses for the big porches and Picture windows that come with them.

Colonial: One of the most Popular housing styles in America. These houses come form the houses  made in the colonial times.

International: Theses houses often are influenced by school, commercial buildings. Its imprint can be seen in glass towers that dominate large city skylines.

Cape Cod: originating New England  in the 17th century. It is traditionally characterized by a low, broad frame building, generally a story and a half high, with a steep, pitched roof.

Colonial Revilal: primarily characterized by gambrel roofs having curved eaves along the length of the house.

Neo-Eclectctic: combines a wide array of decorative techniques taken from an assortment of different periods of historical house styles. It is a response to the clean unadorned modernist styles

   the scale and poportion in this is all off. tables to small, chairs to tall, and bookshelfs bigger than the wall. Lamps too big, some to small, and couches to small for a person.

Rhythm

The wallpaper is representing the Repitition, it makes a pattern all across the wall. The Radation is the pillow because it starts in the middle and goes out with different colors. The stack of suitcases is the gradation.

Texture

    Theres alot of texture in this peice. First of all the wood side table next to the blue chair has a ridged and rough texture which creates an informal setting. Its Visual, and tactical, and audible.
It would make a scratchy noise.
Then theres the tan foot rest,a nd the navy chair, those are also visual, tactical and audible. They look like corduory, and feel soft and make a thump sound when you slide your hand across.
then thers the tan chair and thats visual tactical and audible, its has a leather look, with a smooth, sticky feeling, and makes a squeaky sound.
The blankets are visual, tactical, and audible, they have a comfy look, soft feeling, and woosh sound.
and last the divider, has a shiny look, smooth feeling, and ringing sound.

The streamers represent curvy lines
they add a festive look to the room also matching with the pillow on the chair.
the feeling i get form curvy is joyful because it reminds me of tracks for a rollercoaster.

It adds a feeling of length and width to the room
I get the feeling of Boredom and Fatigue because it reminds me of the way i lay when i sleep

They add a sense of height
The feeling i get is Energy because its the way i stand and walk.

    The lines bring an effect of A lenghty/ big room, because of how they strech across the room/ ceiling.
They bring a feeling of choices, to which path you want to follow in the room.

Bio

David Holaday graduated from Berkley University in California. He is currently working for Dona Cabona in San Fransico. David is working with some very important people, making there houses to fit exactly to their needs. He is currently working with Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, and Cher Lloyd. He plans to open his own buissness when he becomes more known, hes doing quite well in the world of interior design.

               The Color Forcast Article basically stated the upcoming trends they think will be popular. They said how they knew what would succed and what would most likely fail. They stated popular colors and colors that use to be popular.
                  A color forecaster are part designer, sociologist and part predictor. They draw information from the runway, auto manufacturers and the housewares industry.They consider what's happening culturally and how this impacts our national mood.    
              They say Neutrals are now, especially in larger purchases like cars, sofas or carpet. "For those big-ticket items, we'll make the safer choice such as neutrals, from rich gray to camel. Neutrals continue to flourish, as companions for brighter hues or as standalone, monochromatic color schemes."

               My olioboard shows how they said some nice colors were blue or brown or grey, so i did brown in the setting of a bedroom because it gives it that nice eligant look, thats calming but nice to just look at. With this i did a monochromatic color scheme.

this is triadic i did a bathroom, because they said they need more bathrooms.


         


This is the dads office, i did it monochromatic i chose the color black.




this is complementery, i chose blue and orange, and i put hockey stuff ijn it because the kid likes hockey.



this is analogous, i chose red and orange, and i did a kitchen theme because the mother wanted a
better kitchen.

 21. This apartment fits my needs because its very roomy it has alot of space. Theres a good view, and besides all the preset stuff it looks to be a very nice apartment. This is also pretty close to the college i plan to go to.



 


 This house fits my needs at 41, its in San Francisco, it will be close to my friend Katie R. I like this house because it looks like it has alot of room, and it looks like a house i would live it because it has creativity, and it looks like it would have some storage space.




This house fits my needs when im 71 because it looks like it would just be a good house to just retire in, its small, it has nice places to relax, i feel like since ill be old i wont have alot of stuff but if i do i feel it would have enough storage for me to put my stuff in.the only thing i would put in thats different would be a grill to cook outside in the nice warm weather in california.
 

 This board reflects my personality because I feel I'm a very original person and some of these things are very unique and different, you wouldn't see them on a everyday basis. I chose mostly black because black goes with everything. I put some blues and purple in there because there very relaxing colors. But I put some red peices in because it's a very vibrant and energetic color, because its nice to relax but it's also nice to be awake and alive to see the things life brings.
